It Begins....

From Ms. DBN and Mr. ZV:

DBN posts a retweet from A7X: "it begins 4-15-13"

and ZV: "make sure to tune in"

So...any speculations? I think it's a single or it's the Jimmy documentary. What are some other thoughts? Either way, I hope there's something posted when I wake up in the morning!!

All I gotta say is I'm excited. I think it will be a new song or something to do with the new album.

Much as I'm excited/sad for the Jimmy documentary, I'm leaning towards a single. There's a supposed leak (I'm not convinced) running around YouTube, but it could be an OLD demo for all I know. But I really want some news soon!

If he's trolling or not, who knows? But PG indicates that something will happen at 430p Pacific time (730 Eastern, 630 Central, 530 Mountain). We'll see!

Ditto, lol! He delights in making the A7X fans go crazy, though, so I'm always cautious with him on a day like today, lol!

So now for the people who don't know, there is a radio/tv on the site that plays various songs. On 2013 it's static but at some points you can hear stuff

And be sure to move both dials. I'll be playing with it more after work, but it seems to be a run through of their musical history.

I am, too! I'm listening to the "07" channel again...I keep hoping I'll hear something. I also keep flicking the TV part on but it's still the sign-off screen...damn these boys!

So now they posted some things on their twitter. One of them was an address. The address is to a place called *SPOILERS* Johnny's saloon which was in the all excess DVD I believe. I wonder what is awaiting there. If I lived in Cali I would be driving there now!

I really hope it means we're finally gonna have (concrete) news very soon! As much as I find all this stuff exciting, the wait is killing me more and more as days go by...

If I had to guess, with it being record day and a7x has two releases for it. I'd imagine that's the prize. I still can't get passed the fact that they tagged the tweet #itbegins which is what they've tagged everything with for these clues

That's super cool! Still makes me wonder why the clues were tagged with #itbegins. I guess they could've been like "hey we are giving away that guitar for record day right? Lets mess with the fans some more and tag it #itbegins and they will go nuts"

You do realize this is probably all ZV's doing, right? That every time they do something he has a nice laugh at all of us crazy fans...*laughs* But it's fun and I sure wish I lived out there to win that guitar. I'd be insuring that thing and then getting a locked case for it, lol!

Also, tomorrow will be a month since they started teasing us. I know it doesn't mean anything but I HOPE things will finally begin... for real this time... why not. Haha

Anyways, I want to speculate, so here it goes

I'm guessing we're going to have an album release date of July 16th. Bands generally release their new material just before or around they make a live appearance. Right now they are scheduled to play live July 17th and the 19th, if DBN is accurate. The 16th is also a Tuesday, which is the day albums are generally released. That would also coincide with this rumor:

Avenged Sevenfold is poised to release their new, untitled album in July a source close to the band tells us. So far it appears there will be 12 tracks including 1 bonus track for maybe a deluxe edition, etc.

The band is currently rumored to be plotting a fall US tour with Deftones and Ghost.

I don't know how credible they are, but they seem to get a ton of info about bands so...

So with all that in mind, I'd say we're looking at a july 16th release date.

I'm gonna speculate even further lol. I'm assuming the whole 4/15/13 thing and "it begins" means they just entered the studio. I also think "it begins" is a song track and likely to be their first single. That would make sense from the protools image they shared, with one of the tracks having the title "it begins". I'm assuming that was just demos though from their home studio or something, hence why I think they just entered the recording studio on 4/15. I mean, what else could they have been possibly hyping up? the radio is cool I guess, but not something to hype up in itself... I'm sure the radio will be put to good use though

In late March, Syn's dad also posted on his twitter(yes he trolls a ton so be careful what you believe if you read his twitter, rofl) that he heard some demos from a7x. That was also posted by DBN on March 28th. If they had already been in studio at that point, it likely wouldn't have been demos he was listening to.

So yea, I'm pretty sure they just entered the studio on the 15th.

With all that in mind, and if I'm right about a mid July release, I'd say look for a new single between may 21st - the 28th (probably titled "it begins"), since the trend lately has been to release a single around 2 months before album release.
