I've actually gotten into Ghost, I like their music. They're not amazing, but not bad either. Sure the lyrics can be a bit...eh at points... but still they're pretty good imo.
Songs I like-
From Opus Eponymous:
- Elizabeth (probably my favorite song from them)
- Ritual (May have been my favorite if it wasn't for the dumb section in the middle... overly theatrical and just sounds dumb... if you can look past that part it's a good song)
- Here comes the sun (The Beatles cover, only included in Japanese ver. but can find on youtube)
The rest of the album is just average
From Infestessimum:
- Jigolo Har Megiddo
- Year Zero
- Monstrance Clock
Outside of those songs, the rest is probably average. Zombie Queen isn't bad I guess, but I have to be in the mood. It's like 2 diff songs smashed into one. first half is depressing and the second half turn into like some up beat beachboys music rofl. The I'm a marionette cover is also pretty good.
It's not traditionally the music I go for, but I kinda like it. I've been listening to them while I wait for better music.
It gives me something to listen to while I wait for the new A7X. I also got the Megadeth album to look forward to, unfortunately from what I've heard from it so far... it sucks major ass lol. Supercollider the single is the worst shit I've ever heard
I really hope that song isn't representative of the album as a whole. I need some more music to listen to while I wait for new A7X, so the new megadeth better not disappoint, though it probably will. Endgame was good imo, then came 13 which was okay, and now super collider which so far isn't looking too good!
