Lately we have seen a lot more users joining DBC. While that is a great thing, it also leads to more possibility of troublemakers coming here and starting problems. In order to combat this possibility, The owners of DBC have come together to develop a policy for when these problems arise. Please understand this is being put in place as a precautionary measure and not because we have any issues now. It is also put in place to make sure this place stays as positive and community-like as possible. We made this place for all fans of A7X could come and hang out and discuss not only the band, but whatever. We WILL make sure that happens. Everyone is welcome to share their opinion, but putting down others is not allowed. Now obviously there is a difference between joke put-downs and actual put-downs. When a problem arises the mods and admins will discuss before carrying out any of the actions in our policy to make sure there is actually a problem. So without further ado, below is the policy:
First offense:
Warning: If you do something that either the mods or owners of the site feel is unacceptable, you will be told about it and given a warning to correct it. Please don't get upset, just correct your actions in the future and if you do, all will be forgiven.
Second offense:
Another Warning and possible form of banning: If you continue to cause problems, you will be given a second warning and, depending on severity, banned from posting on our site from a week to a month. Keep in mind that this is not based on one persons opinion of the situation but a discussion and vote of the admins with commentary from the mods.
Third Offense:
Banned: If after 2 warnings you still don't correct your behavior you will be permanently banned from using your account on our site. We just don't ban your e-mail but also your IP address. We are trying to preserve a community of positivity and if you can't figure out how to fix what we are asking to be fixed, then 3 strikes and you're outta here.
Now keep in mind, In severe cases we can and will ban after one messup if your a known offender from another fansite. Also, if spambots show up here, they will not be given a warning obviously but banned on the spot. I really don't see many problems arising here but we need this here just in case. We are pretty lenient here so you'd have to really mess up in order to have a problem.
