Dream Theater name new drummer

So after Mike Portnoy left to take a break and spend some time with our boys, Dream Theater have replaced him behind the kit.

According to Kerrang Magazine they have conducted an online reality show to find a new sticksman, and that will be Mike Mangini.

Now I know I have heard the name before, but if anyone can help me out with where I'd appreciate it. I see from Wikipedia that he's played with Steve Vai and James LaBrie before, I just wanna know what to expect when I see them in July.

Mike Mangini was named World's Fastest Drummer a few years ago, he also played with Annihilator for a short time. He was also featured on the Discovery Channel show "Time Warp", where they have the HD cameras that slow everything down so that was pretty cool.

Although I am sad that MP is no longer with DT, if I had to pick a replacement it would be Mangini, he's just that incredible.

Need to check this guy out before July, methinks some time on youtube is in order.
