Second interview is on Friday this week. I've had really positive feedback from the first one and some great tips from the recruitment agency to help prepare for the second one.

The weirdest thing is though, as well as my other jobs I also do cake decorating (see Deathbat cake profile picture) and I haven't had a single order since Halloween. All of a sudden I have 3 commissions in ths space of a month and another friend has just asked me to quote for his wedding cake later this year. Now, if I get the insurance job I'm going to have to bake/decorate at night after work.

Why couldn't these have come along before Christmas?

Yeah I'd saw this amazing cake but I didn't know it was you who have did it You're very talented! I love make cake too but I never work in bakery or something like that I make them for fun and myself hehe but my boyfriend want me to go to apply in some bakery over here when I will go back to work this automn or make them for other like you but i'm not pretty sure about that lol, I did't have any class in this department, I learnt by myself lol

Well, making cake at night isn't pretty great.... Maybe you won't have a lot of commissions... I hope for you if you get in insurance job because you will get tired very fast!! Or maybe if you get a lot of commissions take just few of them by month.

Yeah, I think I should be able to keep up, as long as I don't take on too many.

I did a 6 week course in cake decorating, but it was quite basic, everything else I'm self-taught or have picked up from cooking shows on TV.

Second interview went really well. They kept me waiting half an hour past when I was supposed to go in, but the guy who came out before me looked quite nervous and a bit stressed. Me, I breezed in there, laughed and joked with them for 45 minutes and came out smiling and happy. I think that's a good sign.

They've said they will be in touch monday or tuesday, so I have a slightly nervous weekend ahead of me!

Had the call about half an hour ago, have been whooping and hollering about my house ever since. They want me to start on the 20th!!!!!

No probs, thanks for the congratulations.

I cannot wait to get started with this new job, I'm going to have a regular schedule so I can have a life and hobbies outside of work again. First things first, going to re-join the archery club!!!

Wow that's so cool really. Having a normal life with activities out of the work is priceless when you can't because of a crazy schedule I'm happy for you!

My head was spinning last night, so much to take in and I've barely even begun! Gotta leave soon for day 2, but the people are really nice so hopefully I'll get on well!

It's nice when people are nice with you it help to get in the job easily and faster You'll be used to it fast

Well I made a call to a client yesterday and renewed some policies! I'm working with my buddy today and tomorrow I think, my boss is determined to have me on the counters seeing clients next week! I passed all my tests on tuesday with flying colours, even beat my boss's score!

Okay, wasn't with buddy yesterday, but I am today cos my boss is at a conference today.

Yesterday night I slept very badly not because of a nightmare or anything but because just before heading to bed I saw the news about the show added for QuebecCity, I was too excited and I had difficulties to fall asleep lol But I can't believe it yet maybe when I will receive my ticket in my mailbox or even that, maybe just when I will be there

And an other thing, my boyfriend felt crazy and insane last week... lol yup he bought me this:


By the way I know it's not the good case that goes with the guitar but the store had just this one where the guitar could fit in it, the other was too small and this one is way too big.... well, it's what my boyfriend said.... anyway I plan to buy the Schecter one but to return to my ''surprise'' lol when he gave me the case I was hum okay... look like he bought me an electric guitar super I want one since forever... but it's when I opened the case I was OMG.... Am I dreaming... Sure I am but apparently not because this guitar is still in my house and I'm looking at ''her'' right now writing this so I guess I'm in the reality lol

So for now I think 2012 is gonna be my best year since a while, A7X ticket plus Syn's guitar in less than two week I think I'm gonna die!
