Your words truly empower me, make me want to make a sweet melody,
make a little harmony with some words and a beat,
get a throng of people in the street,
and all of them are there to hear what we have to say,
for some people were a ray of light,
were the reason they wont give up the fight.
I want to help people see that the world is their oyster,
that its no longer time to loiter at the drug store,
help the poor off the curbs, show em with my words,
that this situation we've been thrown in isnt all bad,
theres so many reasons to get glad,
help someone out of sad times,
take the knife from their hand,
help them withstand whatever troubles they're going through,
help em realign their vision instead of lookin at the world askew.
Andy, you see, I'm in it to make the world a better place,
help to eradicate any trace of oppression,
its an obsession of mine, but it doesn't make me divine,
it doesn't make me anything special.
These sentences that I write with my pencil come from my heart,
I want to contribute to the art any way that I can,
